Nelle scorse Google, attraverso un annuncio sul proprio blog ufficiale, ha comunicato di aver pubblicato l’applicazione Cardboard Camera anche sull’App Store di Apple, rendendola disponibile per tutti gli iDevice. Per chi non lo sapesse, la Cardboard Camera permette di:
Cattura e condividi momenti con le foto in realtà virtuale (VR). Le foto VR ti permettono di ammirare panorami e suoni in ogni direzione e in 3D, in modo che le cose vicine sembrino vicine e quelle lontane sembrino lontane. Dalle vacanze alle riunioni familiari, cattura il momento con la Fotocamera Cardboard e rivivilo in VR.
In pratica, Cardboard Camera ci permette di scattare fotografie a 360° per poter poi rivederle sfruttando il nostro visore VR (preferibilmente cardboard). La cosa interessante è che è possibile condividere le fotografie scattate mediante una qualsiasi applicazione che abbiamo installata (e-mail, messaggi, cloud ecc.) per far si che anche i nostri amici possano osservare il nostro scatto.
