A distanza di qualche settimana dalla presentazione degli ultimi 5 smartphone (i BlackBerry Bold 9900 e 9930, Torch 9810, 9850 e 9860), RIM a sorpresa lancia un nuovo terminale (in 3 versioni) che rappresenta l’evoluzione della serie Curve: si tratta del BlackBerry Curve 9350/9360/9370.
Il BlackBerry Curve 9350/9360/9370 è dotato di un processore da 800 MHz, un display da 2,44 pollici con risoluzione 480×360 pixel (densità 246 ppi), fotocamera da 5 megapixel con flash (ma registrazione video “limitata” alla risoluzione VGA), WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, AGPS e batteria da 1.000 mAh.
Per quanto riguarda l’aspetto della memoria, le versioni 9350 e 9360 potranno contare su 512 MB di RAM e 512 MB di ROM mentre nella variante 9370 la ROM disponibile sale ad 1 GB. La nuova serie di smartphone, ovviamente, fa girare BlackBerry OS 7.
Il BlackBerry Curve 9350/9360/9370 farà il proprio esordio in Canada entro la fine di agosto mentre raggiungerà gli altri mercati nel corso di settembre. Il prezzo ufficiale e l’esatta data di disponibilità saranno resi noti in seguito.

The all-new BlackBerry® Curve™ 9350, BlackBerry® Curve™ 9360 and BlackBerry Curve™ 9370 smartphone are exciting additions to the popular BlackBerry Curve series.
These new models are designed to address a large and important segment of the global mobile phone market where customers are looking to upgrade their existing feature phone or existing BlackBerry Curve with an affordable, easy-to-use, full-featured and socially-connected smartphone.

Everything You Need
The new BlackBerry Curve smartphones are slim, stylish and simply beautiful. They are ergonomically designed with a comfortable and iconic keyboard for fast, accurate typing and an optical trackpad for easy, one-handed navigation. GPS and Wi-Fi® support are also included, as well as a 5MP camera with flash and video recording so that memories can be captured and instantly shared on social networks. The microSD/SDHC slot supports up to 32 GB memory cards for additional media storage.
