Toshiba ha ufficialmente presentato il suo secondo tablet Android: si tratta di Thrive 7. Scopriamo insieme quali sono le sue principali caratteristiche.
Il nuovo Toshiba Thrive si differenzia dal suo predecessore per il display da 7 pollici con risoluzione 1280×800 pixel (contro quello da 10.1 pollici del primo modello).
Basato su Android 3.2 Honeycomb, può contare su un processore dual core NVIDIA Tegra 2, 1GB di RAM, fotocamera principale da 5 megapixel ed anteriore da 2 megapixel, WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth, MiniUSB, Micro HDMI, supporto MicroSD, altoparlanti stereo con tecnologia SRS Labs.
Spesso solo 12mm, il Toshiba Thrive 7 Tablet sarà disponibile negli Stati Uniti in due varianti (16GB e 32GB di memoria) da dicembre ad un prezzo che dovrebbe aggirarsi intorno ai 400 dollari.

Optimized for HD Entertainment
The Thrive 7″ Tablet’s LED backlit AutoBrite™ multi-touch display features a stunning 1280×800 resolution, putting bright and crisp images from movies, photos, books and games right in your hand. The tablet also incorporates Toshiba’s exclusive Adaptive Display and Resolution+® video enhancement technologies. The tablet includes stereo speakers tuned with sound enhancement technologies from Toshiba and SRS® Labs that deliver richer audio in music and movies with more natural sound and enhanced clarity.
Powered by Android™ 3.2 and the NVIDIA® Tegra™ 2 platform, this tablet delivers a dual-core processor for blazing-fast performance for web browsing and multitasking, plus NVIDIA GeForce® graphics for console quality gaming. A built-in Gyroscope offers hands-on motion control for the latest Android games.
