L'italiana Gulliver ottiene un importante riconoscimento al DevCon Europe

La giornata di apertura del DevCon non è stata solo l'occasione di sentire il nuovo CEO Thorsten Heins, quanto il momento per importanti riconoscimenti. Nella categoria della Most Useful Enterprise Application al BlackBerry Developer Challenge, ha trionfato la casa italiana Gulliver con MDC Mobile Data Collection.

In particolare MDC è l'innovativa soluzione di Gulliver che consente alle aziende di creare, in completa autonomia, la propria applicazione mobile in ambito enterprise, usando come strumento finale per l'inserimento, la raccolta e la consultazione dei dati dei dispositivi mobile oggi giorno più diffusi: telefoni cellulari, smartphone e tablet. 

MDC unisce la praticità alla modernità e le applicazioni vanno dalla forza vendita/CRM ai manutentori, dai trasportatori agli assistenti sanitari sul territorio, dagli ordini ai rapporti di lavoro, dalla lettura di codici a barre alla localizzazione GPS, dalle fotografie all'acquisizione della firma digitale. 

Non richiede conoscenze particolari per realizzare app ed è una soluzione concreta, con importanti installazioni nazionali ed europee in aziende di ogni dimensione. 

Per i vari premi RIM ha messo a disposizione una cifra complessiva doppia rispetto a quella dell'anno scorso. Quest'anno ha stanziato ben tre milioni di $.Il resto dei premi sono riassunti all'interno del comunicato ufficiale a seguire.

BlackBerry Partners Fund and RIM Announce BlackBerry Developer Challenge Winners in Europe

Amsterdam, The Netherlands – BlackBerry DevCon Europe – February 7, 2012 – BlackBerry Partners Fund™ and Research In Motion (RIM) (NASDAQ: RIMM; TSX: RIM) today announced the winners of the Recognition Awards for Europe, the final round of winners in the fourth annual BlackBerry Partners Fund Developer Challenge. New for the BlackBerry Partners Fund Developer Challenge, Recognition Award winners were selected from applications across six categories based on the level of visual appeal, user experience, creativity and innovation.

• Best B2C app developed for a customer by an agency or ISV - Yemeksepeti by tmob  

• Most useful enterprise application – MDC Mobile Data Collection by Gulliver

• Best website conversion using the BlackBerry WebWorks platform – Salzburger Nachrichten Mobil by Salzburger Nachrichten

• Most creative implementation of Super App characteristics – InStyle.de by ISEC7

• Most innovative use of Payment Service and/or Advertising Service - Bellshare

• Most compelling app created by a student or faculty member – Polar Slide by Dustyroom

Winners of the three 2011 BlackBerry Partners Fund Developer Challenge competitions were announced in September and October along with the Recognition Awards winners for North America and Latin America. All were recognized at the 2011 BlackBerry Developer Conference (DevCon) in San Francisco.

Prizes for the BlackBerry Partners Fund Developer Challenge are valued at $3 million, almost double the value of prizes awarded last year.
